Developed by Dr. Richard Tinsley, this program is a knowledge resource on the challenges facing smallholder farmers in the developing world. Drawing on decades of international field experience, it examines the economic, agronomic, and institutional realities that shape smallholder livelihoods — from financially suppressed economies and government capacity to the day-to-day decisions farmers make. It is intended as a candid, practical reference for students, development professionals, and anyone working to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of agricultural development efforts.
