Grace E. Ganter — Major Advisor 2024 – 2026, Agricultural Biology, CSU, M.S.
Grace joined the Stewart Lab in 2021 as an undergraduate field and laboratory technician. After earning her B.S. in Agricultural Biology from Colorado State University in 2023, she began her master’s degree. Her thesis, “Conifer Microbiomes in the Era of Reforestation: From Nursery Origin to Field Outplanting,” examined the microbial communities associated with conifer seedlings in nurseries and how these communities shift when trees are outplanted into reforestation sites. Grace is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and outside of work enjoys skiing, hiking, and cooking.
