Tess Thompson started her studies by receiving a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, followed by a master’s degree from the University of Florida where she studied soil fertility management and citrus. She is currently working towards attaining her Ph.D. in Soil and Crop Sciences at Colorado State University, studying soil fertility management and wheat stem solidity. She holds great interest in the practical applications of soil fertility research and hopes to work in extension upon graduation.
