Ellen Roberts is originally from Centennial, Colorado and received her B.S. in Animal Sciences from CSU in 2025. She spent three years in the lab as an undergraduate research fellow before joining as a graduate student. She is part of an accelerated MS/DVM program and co-advised by Dr. Cadaret and Dr. Lily Edwards-Callaway with a project looking at pain mitigation strategies for band castration in lambs. In Fall of 2026 she will continue her education in the CSU Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program where she plans to become a mixed animal veterinarian. Outside of school Ellen enjoys horse reining, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.
