Last week, graduate student Huma Tariq Malik successfully defended her PhD dissertation entitled “Sustainable Water Management in Agriculture: Evaluating Produced Water Reuse for Irrigation”. Throughout her time at CSU, Dr. Malik published several hard hitting studies evaluating oil and gas wastewater for beneficial reuse. This important work has attracted attention from many, including the New Mexico Produced Water Consortium and CBS News! Congratulations Dr. Malik!
