My research interests include soil health and ecology, with a focus on how soil biological communities mediate nutrient cycling and plant nutrient uptake. I am interested in sustainable agricultural practices that preserve and promote soil biodiversity and believe that minimizing disruption to soil ecosystems is key to long-term agricultural resilience. My current research explores how cover crop and soil biodiversity treatments affect nitrogen dynamics in a no-till, wheat-sorghum-fallow rotation, using isotopic nitrogen to track plant nitrogen uptake.
