Our lab has found that attraction of insect pollinators, primarily solitary bees, and the subsequent effect of insect pollination on chile pepper yield varies significantly among chile pepper varieties.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nFuture work will determine the plant traits associated with variation in pollinator attraction and develop habitat management plans that increases the abundance of pollinators on chile pepper farms.\n        <\/p>\n        <!-- END text -->\n\n    <\/div>\n    <!-- END component -->\n\n<\/div>\n<!-- END block -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chile peppers are an important crop in Colorado.
